Clogged Toilets
If your toilet clogs and won't drain, you can typically clear the pipe using a plunger. Most hardware stores and big box stores sell these helpful tools. Armed with your plunger, press the rubber bottom over the drainage hole on the bottom of the toilet. Pump the handle up and down rapidly to dislodge the clog.
If you are successful, the water in the toilet should drain completely.
Showers/Sinks
Showers, bathtubs, and sinks also clog from time to time, typically when hair or other debris gets trapped in the drain. If you notice water is draining slowly, it may be worth using a drain cleaning tool to scrape debris from the drain trap.
Please exercise caution and do not use drain cleaning chemicals which could damage your plumbing system.
